Grave site, Historical Information: Auf historischem Boden, unweit einer alten Römerstraße, auf der einst römische Legionäre ins germanische Gebiet einmarschierten, hatte hier die 95. Infanterie-Division der deutschen Wehrmacht ihren 1. Soldatenfriedhof hoch im Kiefernwald errichtet.

Auf dem Weg der 95. ID der deutschen Wehrmacht liegt der erste Soldatenfriedhof, der im Frühjahr 1940 von der 95. ID in Reimsbach eingeweiht wurde.
